Gary Briggs is the co-founder and former owner of Aunt Sadie's Candles. Prior to Aunt Sadie's, Briggs was a long-time professional in events management and has championed numerous non-profit causes including The Jimmy Fund, AIDS Care Ocean State, Operation Smile, and local and regional charities. Born and raised in Lunenburg, Briggs returned to his hometown in 2010 after a 25-year stint in Boston. Briggs is a former Select Board member for the Town of Lunenburg and currently serves as the Town Clerk/Treasurer. When he's not working for the Town, he spends his time with his beloved pup Jack, antiquing, golfing and playing tennis.

Tina Breault is originally from Lunenburg, Massachusetts where she and her husband raised their two sons before moving to Lunenburg, Vermont in 2009. She brings more than 30 years of experience working in the computer and networking industry. Since May 2023, she has served on the Lunenburg Planning Committee and was an integral figure in Lunenburg developing its first ever Municipal Plan. She lends support to the Select Board through sourcing and tracking municipal grant opportunities. In her spare time, Tina is an avid genealogy enthusiast and leads a genealogy club based at the Weeks Memorial Library in Lancaster.

Desmond Brown, MD,  is a retired orthopaedic surgeon. He was on the faculty of Boston University School of Medicine from 2003 until 2022, and moved to Vermont in 2023. He has worked as a volunteer at Spring Lake Ranch, a long-term mental health facility in Cuttingsville, Vemont, and at the Angkor Hospital for Children in Siem Reap, Cambodia. He serves as a consultant for the New Hampshire Office of Professional Licensure and Certification, and for the Medical Justice Alliance. Currently, he supports the town of Lunenburg through his role as treasurer for the trust.

Gerald Mertens moved to Lunenburg in 2013 along with his wife and two daughters after a 40-year career in manufacturing and information technology. He has held a lifelong passion for historical preservation, having worked with organizations over 25 years ago to preserve historic districts. Originally from Missouri, Gerald's path to Vermont took him through Michigan, New York, Virginia, Sweden, California, and Alabama before settling along the Connecticut River in South Lunenburg. When he's not busy with one of his many post-retirement projects, he might be found wandering the woods and back roads with his two dogs.
